OCEANA PEARL PICCONE
About

“The purpose of art is washing the dust of daily life off our souls.”
Born and raised in the Northern Rivers of Australia, I’ve been immersed in the world of art since I could first hold a pencil or brush.
Creativity has always been my anchor, my language, and my way of understanding the world. Over the years, this passion has evolved into a lifelong journey, one rooted in curiosity, healing and expression.
From painting to fashion and wearable art, my practice is a reflection of my inner landscapes and the experiences that have shaped me. Art has guided me through some of life’s most pivotal moments, becoming not just a creative outlet but a powerful means of healing. It is this deeply personal connection to the creative process that led me into the path of transpersonal art therapy.
I believe art has the capacity to connect us to ourselves, to one another and to the natural world. Much of my work is inspired by the environment and by my commitment to community, often exploring themes that challenge norms and invite deeper reflection.
I do not confine myself to one medium or form. I embrace a broad and intuitive approach to creation, with each piece offering a glimpse into my ongoing exploration of self, spirit and story.
Through my work, I aim to evoke feeling, ignite imagination and honour the beauty and depth of the human experience.
