I am a 19-year-old Australian citizen, living permanently in Melbourne, I am currently studying The Bachelor of Fashion Design Honours degree at RMIT University.
My goal is to be given a suited work position with the opportunity to grow and expand within the workforce, specifically in a part-time position that engages my creativity and communication skills. I am guaranteed to excel due to my developed work ethic and innate drive to do everything to the best of my abilities. Art is one of my strong passions. I entered the, "It's all about the light" art expo in 2013 (Ocean Shores) and again in 2015. The 2015 entry won the “Framers Award.” My entry in the, “Down By The River” competition held by the Mullumbimby Art Piece gallery won 3rd place in the “Under 18” category. Highly recommended for the “The longest night” postcard expo in 2018.
Fashion design is one of my strong passions; I’ve won 7 awards in the Shearwater Wearable Arts Performance competition. My 2013 entry, titled ”Sweet Pea” won Most Creative Use of Material. my 2014 entry, titled “Trash Vogue” won Directer’s Choice Award and first place for my category. My 2015 entry called “Woman in Gold” won the Grand Prize. My 2016 entry, “POP” was awarded a “Highly Recommended”. In 2017 I entered two pieces one being a pair of boots in the single garment section winning first in its section, the other being “Morphett’e” a costume constructed out of recycled plastic bags winning first in its section and winning the youth award in the Mandurah western Australian wearable arts show. In 2018 my design ‘warrior between worlds’ won first in its section.
